A Short Demo of Mission Control #01: The Cold Purity of Mathematic Love/Trust Equations = {¢☼inHz [R☼AR***G☼ldenMILKYWAYLightYEAR %NANOMILES] -+ ¢☼smi¢ExisteΩce [SPACE/TIME]-+[In/☼ut]}

The Cold Purity of Mathematic Love/Trust Equations is an on-going series that explores the visual paraphrases of sound phenomena. Artist creates a set of circular discs sculptures, mechanical turntables and modified digital electronics. The discs are encrusted with malleable clay and a collection of coins from various countries are pressed in specific arrangements into the clay. The coin act as closing and opening circuits built into the mechanical-kinetic and sound generating sculptures. The works are inspired by NASA, the space mission of the 1960s and 70s, and the exploration of the space; rhythm and harmony of the universe. By incorporating with the archival audio and NASA transmission from the space, I will like to invite the audience to form new symbolic relations with the instruments that emit sounds intermittently, as if tapping into the mystery of the cosmos.
